About the Photographer 

Hey! I am Paola Pronounced [Paw-ola]

I was born in Bogota, Colombia, among the chaos of the city with the heart of a coast lover. I graduated from the South East Center of Photography Studies.  in Daytona Beach, where I met my friend, photographer, and husband, Leighton Ohlson.

We moved to Colombia after graduation to start an adventure that took us to different cities, countries, and amazing experiences. 

For a decade, I have been working and exploring the art and technique of photography in different industries, from fashion, non-profit, and editorial to photojournalism. I still in love with the craft. 

When I am not competing with my cat for the office chair, you can find me practicing yoga, smelling candles, or gardening— or/and having some red wine while doing all of the above. 

Currently, I am based in Florida, growing my wedding photography branch Ohlson Photography, and participating in new exciting projects. 

I consider myself a citizen of the world, a multi-passionate cat lover, and a project-driven creative. 

Portraits, editorials, and events are my weaknesses and some of my favorite things to photograph.
